Yes, that sounds like stress and anxiety. She might benefit from seeing a psychiatrist to see if there is any medical treatment that could turn down the volume on her anxiety so that coping will be easier. I would suggest that your daughter speak with a counselor as stress is something that all kids/teens go through in school.
