About Nikkita Stonner

For the past five years I have worked with adolescents, adults, and families through trauma experiences, parenting set-backs, anxiety and depression. As a child protection therapist, I helped many families through the most difficult times of their life. I have been trained in trauma-specific cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and tend to use CBT as my main lens to focus through, though, I also utilize Client-Focused and mindfulness approaches as well. My goal is to help my clients feel comfortable and in a judgement free space and help them work through those life-altering events or help them understand how to move past the anxiety and/or depression that is weighing them down.
