I received my BA in Psychology and Communications from Boston College and my Masters Degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in San Francisco.
I started working with clients while in graduate school and have continued since, training at:
City Arts & Technology High School
Project Pride
City College of San Francisco
Haight Ashbury Psychological Services
The TALK Line
Each of my experiences allowed me to help clients around the Bay Area explore and overcome whatever was standing between them and their best self. My passion for this work led me to create Honest Space Psychotherapy, a safe space for connecting, understanding, growing and healing.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, active, and nonjudgmental. I believe that we are a team working together with a common objective – helping you feel better. I don’t work from one specific theoretic model but instead pick and choose the most helpful tools from a variety of models based on our conversation, your goals and your needs at the time. I value transparency and encourage open and direct feedback from my clients.
When I'm not with my clients, I'm usually chasing my toddler around various parts of San Francisco, hiking, sailing, camping, doing yoga or spending time with family and friends.
I look forward to getting to know more about you.
