About Jim Ciraky PhD., LPC.

I have a passion for helping people become who they are designed to be by the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) strategy of renewing the mind. When human beings experience severe life stresses, it is not uncommon for their lives to become more challenging. I like to help people identify healthy, constructive ways to move forward in life. I help individuals and couples rediscover a healthier and more truthful view of God, self and others with whom they are in relationship.

I know that no single approach is the right one for every individual, and so I have experience in a range of modalities including cognitive behavioral, solution focused, and relational. After years of counseling I discovered there are a few things in which I am confident:

o Being more satisfied and content is achievable at most any age and phase of life.

o You have already waited too long so why wait any longer?

o I can provide you with some of the latest proven techniques to change your thinking and behaviors.

o Healing is possible

o Act now before more years disappear without a single beneficial change in your life.

There are so many Counselors out there and it is overwhelming, even paralyzing, to find the right one. This is why I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation for you and me to determine if we are the best match for what you wish to accomplish (404.293.5654).

When I began in counseling, I regularly looked for better techniques and strategies to assist people in moving beyond a trapped mindset and soon began obtaining referrals from pastors, school administrators, teachers, business owners and leaders, and others who began entrusting me to help them, their families, friends, and associates.

Originally, all these referrals were accomplished without marketing campaigns or interactive websites. Recently however, I have been receiving multiple requests for ways to reach more people, which now involves participation with effective modern strategies to connect me with people nationally and internationally. I also instruct counseling students at Liberty University, which keeps me appraised of the latest and most effective counseling strategies and have supervised many counselors from schools, clinics, and churches.

It is truly an exciting time to live and benefit from counseling to help you with anxiety, depression, and relationships no matter where you live.

Experience:

Hi, I am founder and director of Advent Counseling and Training Services Inc established in greater Metro Atlanta Georgia, USA. At the beginning of my career I worked as Patient Care Coordinator, Program Therapist and Partial Hospital Director in area hospitals treating adolescents and their families.

Since opening my own office, I continued expanding across the Metro Atlanta area, now with three offices. In addition to counseling, I speak at conferences and workshops addressing depression, anxiety, relationships, parenting, conflict management and personal & business development. I also offer crisis, relational, and mental health consulting to businesses, churches, educational institutions, and community groups about the following subjects: Training in the development of long-term meaningful relationships; Facilitating workable strategies in improved communication; Teaching the latest effective conflict strategies; Handling Disruptive Event Management (also known as Critical Incident Response).

In 2010 I traveled to Ukraine with a friend to teach capitalistic business principles to Ukrainian business owners/managers. In 2015 I traveled to Romania, where I learned about the plight of trafficked girls who are now rescued to a life of freedom with education and vocational training; a worthwhile cause.

I began counseling in one office in Smyrna, Georgia, USA and now have several offices. In 2018 I began an online international coaching program through which I have coached men and women from Denmark, Scotland, India, China, Thailand, Canada, Romania, Iceland, and other countries. Additionally, I instruct Counseling students at Liberty University.

A few of my current specialties involve the following: Teaching skills to resolve or manage long standing conflicts, Facilitating improved self-sustaining personal relational connections, and Training in recent anxiety resolution/management techniques.

Personal

I was born in and raised near Cleveland, Ohio. Go Browns, Cavs, and Tribe. My wife and I enjoy our friendship together, years of relational connection, and have two grown sons. Indeed, I have practical experience with marriage and child rearing, which was not just obtained via books and formal education. My life has indeed been a tremendous learning tool, the lessons of which I apply in my counsel with others.
