I think my daughter is stressing too much

When my daughter is stressed about a silly thing from school, she starts crying and freaking out. She is a bright student, always has a 4.0, but I am afraid she is stressing too much. I’m afraid it’s going to break her. I don't know if I should get her to a doctor or someone because this is not normal.

When I hear "a silly thing from school," it tells me that perhaps there is not an understanding of her experience. I am wondering what is behind this thing from school; fear of failure? fear of disappointing you or others?  Perhaps if her self-worth heavily rides on her academics, even the little things feel big. If it were me, I would explore what is behind this school stress and maybe have her see a therapist to help her unpack it.
