About Rachelle Miller

I have worked in the field of social work since 1998 serving clients of diverse backgrounds in a variety of settings including: school social work, community based mental health, developmental disabilities, child welfare, foster care, adoption and private practice.

I have an eclectic theoretical perspective and create planned change through a problem solving process. I am creative, flexible and solution focused. Every client is unique and an expert in their own lives and the helping relationship is developed based on this premise. I use a narrative approach to therapy which is non-blaming and separates problems from people. I am collaborative and assist clients in becoming present with their lived experience while moving towards valued living or "what matters." I enjoy working with women's issues, teens and young adults, new parents and parents of children with neurodevelopmental disorders.
