About Cimberly R. Nesker

Cimberly achieved her B.A. in Psychology at McGill University. She followed that degree by receiving her Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology at Strathclyde University in Glasgow. Cimberly also has an MSc in Psychological Studies through the University of Glasgow. While living in the United Kingdom, Cimberly was accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Her MSc is acknowledged by the British Psychological Society (BPS). Upon returning to Canada, Cimberly became a Canadian Certified Counsellor through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). While her main therapeutic technique is rooted in Person-Centred or Rogerian Therapy, Cimberly has also received certification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). In concordance with the ethical requirements of practice of the CCPA, Cimberly continues to expand her skills and therapeutic techniques. Cimberly is also a fully accredited member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
