with Knowledge Markets:
Legal and Ethical Considerations

February 13th, 10:00am (PST)

CounselChat helps therapists grow their practice through connection with clients and professional development.

We’re offering this no-cost continuing education unit to help therapists use online communication ethically and effectively.

Program Description

This 90 minute online webinar will present as a case study to discuss ethical and practical aspects of using web-based communication as a knowledge market. We will explore how prospective clients are empowered to assess the therapeutic goodness of fit with a prospective mental health counselor.

We will use empirical data, real-life examples, laws, and applicable professional codes of ethics as guidance to demonstrate the effectiveness and impact of this knowledge market on assessing the therapeutic relationship from the point of view of a potential client.
